Palermo Airport, also known as Falcone Borsellino Airport, is located in Punta Raisi, about 35 km outside the city. It serves as a major hub for both domestic and international flights to and from Sicily.
The airport is connected to the city by a shuttle train that departs approximately every 30 minutes.
